RV Insurance in Florida

Your standard car insurance does not cover your RV. You need a separate policy for losses for your RV. RV insurance is relatively inexpensive but can pay off your losses should a severe accident happen while you are in it.

Florida Minimum Insurance Requirements

In the state of Florida, if you drive your RV and don't tow it behind your car or truck, then you are required to have insurance on it. The minimum requirements are $10,000 for bodily injuries per accident for one person, $20,000 bodily injury protection per accident for two or more persons and $10,000 property damage coverage for each accident.

Florida has some of the lowest minimum insurance requirements of any state and you can always purchase additional insurance to make sure you are fully covered in the case of an accident.

Common Recreational Vehicles

You can find RV insurance for a wide array of vehicles at All Counties Insurance Agency in Florida. Common types of RV's for insurance purposes are motorhomes of class A, B, and C, fifth wheels, toy haulers, travel trailers, vehicles made from bus conversions, truck campers, pop up trailers and sports utility RV's.

Additional RV Insurance

You can build your insurance policy by adding additional coverage to make certain you are covered in all situations. Liability coverage pays for injuries or property damages that you cause someone else while driving your RV. It can also help with legal fees if someone sues you for damages. Collision coverage pays for repairs or to replace your RV if it is damaged or totaled by theft, vandalism, fire and severe weather. Campsite and vacation coverage pays for damages that occur to your RV while it is parked and not moving. Full timer coverage is for people who live full time in their RV's and it functions much like homeowner's insurance.

Your RV is a great investment. We at All Counties Insurance Agency in Florida can help you to determine the best course of action to make certain you have ample coverage in the case of an accident. Come by the office or give us a call to get started on your policy.
